About the role

Saint-Gobain Ecophon is part of the global Saint-Gobain Group. Saint-Gobain Ecophon designs, produces, and sell front end products within sound absorbing systems. The Saint-Gobain Group comprises a number of different companies including the Ecophon products as well as a wide range of other products within the construction industry.

This position has a focus on selling the Ecophon products on our markets outside Europe. Hence, you will be instrumental in running the sales of the Ecophon product range of sound absorbing systems within in a highly global context. You will have the privilege to collaborate with different types of accounts, ranging from small to bigger, operating on a diverse set of markets. You will be in dialogue with different type of counterparts, for example distributors of the Ecophon products as well as main contractors and architect firms buying the Ecophon products directly.

You feel at home in a dynamic environment where a “make it happen” philosophy is strong. You will take ownership of 5-7 existing accounts and scope and develop 3-4 new accounts/year. The main activities to nurture and develop the accounts include: market analysis, developing the solution, pricing, visits, being the point of contact for the accounts.

In this role you will report to the International Commercial Manager and be part of a team with six colleagues in various commercial positions. The position is based in Hyllinge outside Helsingborg, at the Saint-Gobain Ecophon global head quarter. Some travelling is included, approximately 40-60 days/year.

Profile and background

To be able to handle the position you need to be self-motivated, curious, have a strong commercial drive, and being perseverant with regards to long term business relations. You are well structured and organized at the same time with a high drive for result. As a person you must show strong in terms of communication, social and networking. You will have numerous ongoing dialogues from internal and external stakeholders, so you need to be able to recognize what is important and prioritizing tasks. You also bring the below experiences/competencies:

• Commercial sales and/or technical background in an B2B environment, having done so in an international environment is an advantage but not a requirement

• Experience from physical products, having worked with construction/real estate/similar products is an advantage but not a requirement

• Proven successful track record of sales during 5–7 years

• Proven negotiation skills

• Good knowledge in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is meritorious with additional language skills.

• Experience in project management is an advantage, but not a requirement.
