About the company

In this process we are happy to represent a global producer of technical products mainly targeting manufacturers of movable furniture and medtech equipment. Our client is growing rapidly in Europe and is now looking for a Sales Manager for the Nordic region.

About the role

You will have the overall commercial responsibility for the Nordic region. You will lead a team of 5 technical sales professionals. You will be a member of the Nordic management team and report to the CEO. You will interact regularly with your peers in other European regions (UK, France, Italy etc).

Primary responsibilities:

    • Responsible for reaching targets in terms of turnover and gross margin for the region
    • Sales planning and continuous forecasting to secure highest delivery accuracy
    • Personnel responsibility for 5 people
    • Solution-selling to existing and new customers
    • Development of value proposition and customer adaptations
    • Localizing (European) marketing materials and participation in trade-fairs and other marketing activities
    • Feed back market intelligence and customer insights to central functions

About you

As a person, you are action-oriented, structured and have a high sense of responsibility. You are an experienced leader of technical, consultative salespeople who primarily interact directly with end customers. You have a great commitment to leadership and to giving the customer the best possible experience by treating each individual in a professional and personal way.

To succeed in the role and the company, we also see that you have the following experience and skills:

    • Bachelor of science, majoring in economics, marketing, organization or equivalent
    • 7 – 10 years of successful solution sales experience in a B2B environment
    • At least 5 years as a leader with good results, preferably in an international organisation
    • Fluent in Swedish and English (additional Nordic language meritorious)
    • Previous experience in technical adaptations, customer-inspired product development and project management is meritorious
