About the role

In this role, you will be an influential finance partner across multifunctional teams, collaborating closely with the Nordic countries as well as HQ to drive business success. You will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where your ability to adapt and innovate will be key. You won’t shy away from challenging status quo, bringing fresh perspectives and positive changes to how Lindt work and approach business and controlling. Your proactive mindset will help shape the future of our operations and drive continuous improvement across the organization. You report to the Nordic CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Responsibility: Take ownership of and if necessary reassign market split, being personally responsible for assigned markets and retail business.

• Leading and Guiding: Provide strategic guidance to the Sales and Marketing team, focusing on long-term strategy outlooks.

• Insights and Analysis: Deliver insightful analysis on product and customer profitability, initiatives, launches, trade margins, and negotiation strategies.

• Pricing Calculation and Analysis: Lead the pricing calculation and analysis processes to ensure competitive and profitable price management across Nordics.

• Budget Management: Oversee the entire budget process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets, as well as securing corporate deadlines.

• Forecasting: Lead the forecasting process (two or three times a year), collaborating with the Nordic commercial team to meet specific submission deadlines.

• Monthly Closing and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial closing and subsequent reporting.

• Team Management: Manage and develop an international and diverse team (2-3 FET) and ensure they have challenging goals, development plans and a clear career outlook.

• Process Improvements: Continuously seek for opportunities to improve all the processes above, both in quality of output and time and effort spent. Find the right balance between accuracy, effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Experiences & Qualities

• Extensive Experience: Appx. 10 years of finance experience, primarily in Business Control in a global FMCG environment.

• Leadership skills: preferably experience from management or team lead, alternatively consider this a natural and motivating next step.

• Technical Expertise: Competence in using Excel and SAP for financial analysis and reporting. Comfortable learning and rolling out new systems related to monthly reporting (SAC), forecast and budgeting (Tagetik), and closing (new ERP rollout).

• Strategic Thinking: Strong professional judgment in supporting strategic decision-making while ensuring everyday operations are on par.

• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across multifunctional teams. Network with other markets.

• Innovative Mindset: Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving impactful change.

• Educational Background: BA in Finance.

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required. Additional Nordic language skills are a plus.
