This position can be based either in Malmö or Stockholm.

Your role & responsibilities as Head of Development B2C

  • The Head of B2C Development ensures the effective planning, management and execution of the Development B2C Team within the Commercial B2C function.
  • Set and drive the strategic direction for Commercial B2C, ensuring alignment with Ikano Bank’s overall strategic objectives.
  • Inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth to drive business success.
  • Responsible for, evaluating, conceptualising and optimising customer value propositions across the B2C business and help shape the future strategic choices for B2C.
  • The responsibilities include project management capabilities to lead and support in cross market- and department initiatives including the work to set bank-wide processes and ways-of-working as well as drive other organizational development initiatives.
  • Responsible for market- & competitor insights
  • Provide overall support to the Chief Commercial B2C Officer and ensures structure of the Commercial B2C function, including management of committees & forum, overall governance and support with documentation for Commercial B2C management team, Board of Directors and other bank committees with material
  • Responsibilities also include securing and coordinating an accurate and efficient handling of governance, risk and compliance related tasks and to ensure regulatory readiness.
  • Provide overall support to the Chief Commercial B2C Officer to ensure the structure of the Commercial B2C function, including management of committees & forum, overall governance and support with documentation for Commercial B2C management team, Board of Directors and other bank committees with material.

  • Ability to define direction and recommendations in an effective, structured and timely manner.
  • Highly collaborative and able to work together with Stakeholders from all parts of the business to achieve results that will impact the profitability of the Commercial B2C team in a positive way.

What experience will you bring?

  • +10 years of relevant experience from the financial sector
  • Extensive people management and senior leadership experience
  • Strong strategic and tactical planning from business case development
  • Strong track record in commercial business development of a bank
  • Experience of project/program management in the financial sector
  • Experience working across functions and markets to align analysis with commercial priorities.
  • Proven experience of Governance, Risk and Compliance related to the financial sector.
  • Experience of Management Consulting is an advantage.
