About the role
As a Business Controller, Supply Chain, you will serve as the vital bridge between operational activities and financial insights, driving strategic decision-making. In this global role, you will oversee all financial aspects of supply chain and R&D, ensuring they align with the company’s broader objectives. As an important part of both the supply chain and R&D management teams, you will contribute to strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will lead a controller based in Taiwan, providing guidance and support to strengthen financial performance.
Our main production facility is in Taipei, supported by a supplementary site in Malmö. The position requires occasional travel, primarily to Taiwan.
Beyond these responsibilities, you will take on various ad-hoc projects as required by the supply chain and R&D teams. The key systems central to your work include our ERP (IFS), consolidation system (AARO), and data warehouse (Qlik Sense).
You will be based at the Malmö HQ and report to SVP Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive financial control and strategic decision-making in supply chain and R&D
• Ensure accurate accounting and cost treatment for ongoing R&D projects
• Analyze and control monthly supply chain costs, including freight, materials, manufacturing, and overheads
• Collaborate with the supply chain and R&D management teams to enhance strategic decision-making
• Play a key role in the audit process, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reporting
• Support the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with financial targets, accurate forecasting, and annual standard cost updates
• Track actual and standard costs and conduct inventory analysis
• Lead process and tool improvements to optimize financial and operational performance
About you
We are looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and change management. You thrive in dynamic environments. You have at least five years of controlling experience, ideally in international manufacturing, with expertise in supply chain processes and product costing, or relevant audit experience. If you have a strong understanding of financial systems and digital tools, combined with sharp analytical skills and relevant experience in finance, you could be a great fit – even if you have slightly fewer years of experience.
Furthermore, you have:
• A degree in finance, business or a technical field
• Proficient in financial systems and digital tools, with sharp analytical skills
• A confident communicator, fluent in English and Swedish, able to turn complex financial data into actionable insights
• Experienced in working across diverse cultures and global teams
