Saint-Gobain Ecophon – Communication Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work in an exciting, global, front-line environment being part of a leading, global supplier of sound absorbing systems! We are now looking for a Communication Specialist to join our central organization. As Communication Specialist, you will be driving/supporting product launches, act as country support for our Business Units and supporting various marketing topics within the central communication team. Your marketing skills will be a key factor for advising and guiding within the projects. You will be producing marketing material yourself, with support from our agency network when suitable. Your role will vary from case to case, sometimes being a resource within a project, supporting Communication Project Managers with production work, and in some cases you will be running the projects on your own.

More about the role

You have a proven track record as a communication professional, with strong skills in graphic design and content creation. You have experience from digital marketing and can tailor your work to suit all media channels. You are a self-motivated, service minded creative with a flexible approach. You will be working in a global context with stakeholders across central functions as well as within business units.

You will join the central communications team with a diverse team of colleagues spanning over competencies within project management, communication & digital.

This role is based at the Saint-Gobain headquarters in Hyllinge, outside Helsingborg and you will report to the Marketing Manager, Communication.

Requirements

– Degree in marketing, or minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar position

– Experience from production of marketing material, preferably in a B2B context

– Ability to navigate within and shift between hands on tasks and strategic branding topics

Fluent in Swedish and English – spoken and written

– Excellent communication skills

– Text creation (not mandatory)

– Proactive, creative, energetic and strong drive

– Experience in working with Adobe Creative Suite

– Creation of illustrations and animations (not mandatory)

Area of responsibility

– Support/drive communication strategy and content on a project basis

– Responsibility for ensuring that communication material are aligned with Saint-Gobain Ecophon strategy, brand and profile

– Production of marketing communication material for local implementation.

– Work continuously with our communication toolbox making sure it’s up to date and fit for purpose

– Support and run centrally lead communication activities with both central and local (business units) stakeholders

– As required, support other resources within the department
